There are still no known cases of COVID-19 across any of our sites.
We are pleased to share that most of our clients have now returned to work, with the number of clients choosing to voluntarily self-isolate continuing to drop across our sites.
While operations in South Australia are looking brighter, the number of COVID-19 cases in Victoria continues to rise, and the city of Melbourne is now in lockdown for six weeks. Thankfully, our residential clients and staff do not live in the directly affected postcodes. Our Victorian residents are holding up well despite worrying times, with our South Australian sites sending over PPE and other in demand items.
Bedford’s Hospitality department partially reopened its metropolitan cafes on 13 July 2020. There will only be pre-ordered lunches available and Fridays will be closed during July and August. All our Hospitality departments will be up and running the week commencing 31 August.
Bedford continues to follow the recommendations of the Australian Government’s Department of Health that anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms must not come to work, stay home and contact their medical professional about whether they should get tested for COVID-19.
We continue to maintain social distancing and hygiene practices, including hand sanitiser stations, across all our sites.
