Here at Bedford we take the work health and safety of our staff and clients very seriously.
Bedford's COVID Committee has set restrictions across Bedford in-line with current SA Health guidelines.
MASK USE
- Masks are no longer required at all times at Balyana, and across all Day Options and Experiences programs
- Close contacts or positive cases returning to work after 7 days isolation will need to wear a surgical mask when at Bedford for 3 days (eg, Days 8 - 10)
- N95 masks are no longer required
Masks will be reintroduced if / when there are local clusters or waves of infections at Bedford sites or in the general SA community - we will advise everyone when this becomes necessary.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Bedford staff are not required to have the first three doses of immunisation per the SA Health and State Government mandates. Vaccination remains a fantastic way to ensure you do not get severe symptoms of COVID-19 and Bedford strongly encourages all our people to be vaccinated and maintain your boosters. However, it is not compulsory for new-starting staff to be vaccinated.
As a matter of due diligence, we will record all staff and employee vaccination histories, as it assists us to manage business continuity when outbreaks occur.
