Work Covid-Safe
Discover the latest information around working at Bedford during the pandemic

South Australia is experiencing a high-level of community transmission of COVID-19. As a community-based organisation, Bedford is experiencing some minor cases and close contacts involving our staff and clients.

At this stage, the Panorama Cafe will be closed for one week. There are no other closures at this time.

Bedford is treating this situation very seriously and we are strictly following SA Health advice to put appropriate resources, systems, and safety measures in place.

All staff and clients are using a centralised SMS service to report their details, work location, reason for isolation and other relevant details so we can quickly notify other people of the need to isolate and get tested.

Texts from SA Health with test results, can simply be forwarded to this SMS service to expedite our response.

We are tracking all notifications to the SMS service to keep everyone in our Bedford community safe and thank the whole Bedford Community for doing their part.

We are continuing to communicate with our staff and clients using email, text, website and reception notices. Please check these regularly for any urgent messages or directives.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Please continue to stay safe.

— Tim Wilson, Bedford COVID-19 Taskforce Chair

Everyone at Bedford will be safer if we all follow good COVID-safe practices
