What an amazing afternoon filled with great food, entertainment, and company. We are constantly blown away by the generosity of our community!
Over 500 guests enjoyed a jam-packed afternoon hosted by Seven’s Elspeth Hussey, which included an animated live auction and a lucky dip (or three) in the popular wine wall. We were fortunate enough to have some stunning art pieces up for silent action, donated by Patrick Pearson and Jane Ruggiero.
All produce for the event was locally sourced and included products from a number of Bedford's commercial partners. We are proud to be aligned with the prominent brands to be involved in the production cycle of the food and beverages guests enjoyed on the day.
Guests were treated to plenty of inspiring entertainment, which included performances by our choir the Bedford Beats, Bedford client and acclaimed actor Kym Mackenzie, and Bedford Day Options dancers.
Bedford Hospitality team members also put their skills on show as they took part in a mouth-watering cooking demonstration run by cook, author and food educator, Callum Hann from the Sprout Cooking School.
The Bedford Big BBQ is always a great opportunity to network across different industries and support a great cause while passing the sauce bottle.
Shout out to our sponsors and supporters StreetFleet, Access Pay, Laminex Australia, d365.Group, Entrée Recruitment, Vintek, Mainfreight, Seven Adelaide, Balfours, Bunnings, Adelaide Crows, Kooyonga, Marriott Meats, and Haigh’s Chocolates for making this event possible.
