The Bedford Group Beyond Imagination Lottery has presented Highbury man John Mader with the top prize of $80,000.
John said that when he picked up the phone call everyone wants to receive to hear about his $80,000 win he felt “Elated! Even though I had a cold, it was a very good call.”
Together with his wife Kaye, John plans to escape the winter and take a holiday up to Cairns and Hamilton Island, and hopefully get over his cold.
When they return to SA, the Maders’ plan on making some home improvements. John told us he has been waiting to renovate the laundry in his home, and is also planning on buying a new car and mobile phones for himself and Kaye.
We also caught up with the Beyond Imagination Lottery second prize winner, Garry Davies who happily took home $10,000.
Garry told us that he bought a ticket in the Beyond Imagination Lottery because “…it’s a good cause - I honestly never expected to get anything out of it.” After we let it sink in a bit Garry said “I’m stoked! What a pleasant surprise!” (We love our happy winners!)
