Bedford has recently become aware that the NDIA has amended its pre-qualification eligibility requirements to include people currently receiving a funded place in an Australian Disability Enterprise program.
This means that people who meet the following criteria will be automatically eligible for the NDIS without needing to provide further information:
- currently holds a funded place, that is registered in the Federal Online Funding Management System (FOFMS), within an Australian Disability Enterprise, such as Bedford; and
- receives the Disability Support Pension; and
- meets the age and residence requirements.
This is great news, as it means the vast majority of people working at Bedford now qualify for the NDIS without having to jump through hoops.
