Bedford's Day Options and Experiences Centre located at Torrensville in Adelaide’s West turned one in February 2024, and celebrations will be held later in February.
The Torrensville Day Options and Experiences service opened on 13 February 2023, and since then over 20 people have signed up to participate in specialised programs, which are designed to meet the individual goals for clients with core-funding in their NDIS plans.
Stefanie Veitch, General Manager of Community and Lifestyle, said “Clients can choose from a variety of programs, including cooking, pottery, literacy and numeracy, social and recreational outings, music and so much more. We are delighted to be able to provide this service to the local community.”
The Torrensville service run both in-house and community-based programs tailored to individual client needs, interests and personal goals.
Attending Day Options and Experiences offers an opportunity for clients to learn new skills, meet new people and experience what our Bedford community has to offer in the west.
