For Cabra student Daniel, volunteering at the school’s St Mary’s Unit, which provides support and education for students with an intellectual disability, triggered his passion for working in the field.
“I just fell in love with the work at the St Mary’s Unit. It’s the first career path that I’ve really enjoyed,” Daniel said.
“I’m so glad I’m undertaking my work experience here at Bedford. It’s such a bright place to work. I would choose this career path 100 times over.”
