Celebrating Adult Learners Week

This week is Adult Learners’ Week, a chance to celebrate and shine a spotlight on adult learning!

We took the opportunity to celebrate our adult learners who are currently taking part in our Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course. This amazing group will soon be work-ready, with formal qualifications in disability support work.

Hear what they have to say about their experience with the course below!

This course has given me the opportunity to make a great change in career with lots of colour and texture. After 26 years of being in a male dominated trade, where the big picture was merely a black and white sketch, this course had made see that a sketch is merely a concept and the bigger picture is very easy to see with an educator who is passionate. This opportunity to change was sparked by myself by gaining work in Individual support, but kept alight and burning thanks to the great support, knowledge and passion found in the educators of the cert 3 programme at Bedford,” - Theo Papageorgakis

“I have been in the course nearly a month now & I have learnt so much about individual support. My trainer is amazing & has taught me so much. I'm finding the class wonderful & friendly. I'm hoping to get a job in the sector as I love helping people succeed & seeing them happy & smile. Thanks so much to Bedford for having a course for people of all ages & also a big thank you to my trainer.”
