Bedford builds quality storage furniture made in South Australia by staff living with disability and sold at Bunnings Australia.
Timber Processing
Operating across four sites in South Australia, Bedford’s timber-processing division offers contract cutting services – cutting components to size - for furniture, bed, wardrobe and kitchen manufacturers throughout Australia.
We also offer a large specialty crate and pallet division, which can meet orders of any size.
Bedford’s timber processing team uses state-of-the-art woodworking machinery, including Giben front-loading saws, Biesse edge-banders, as well as point-to-point and flow-through machines. Our sophisticated storage and distribution system ensures timely and reliable delivery of products across Australia, each and every time.
Bedford’s timber service delivers packaging and furniture componentry, offering a suite of services including design, supply prototypes, and custom orders. We cater for small to large volume orders and can meet varied product specifications.
Our commitment to quality follows through to the environment, ensuring high levels of recycling are implemented throughout our services – even our timber shavings go to good use as bedding for a regional poultry business.
