About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring that our clients/customer locations are managed with an end-to-end service. This includes ordering, receiving and distribution, and replenishment of linen supplies at to maintain smooth and efficient laundry operations. The position ensures all processes are well organised, completed on time and meet high-quality standards.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Ordering linen to an agreed stock level to ensure continuity of supply
- Receiving deliveries and distributing to relevant locations
- Replenishment of stock into designated areas at customer sites.
- Address and resolve any delivery or stock issues promptly by working with the Production & Logistics Coordinator and Account Manager
- Ensure quality standards are met in all aspects of the role
About You
The ideal Linen Coordinator is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing linen operations. You excel in balancing multiple tasks, ensuring that our customers receive linen efficiently and on time. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team allows you to adapt to changing demands and solve problems effectively. Strong communication skills help you coordinate with various stakeholders, while your commitment to quality ensures that every aspect of linen management runs smoothly.
Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:
- Knowledge and experience in commercial laundry services, particularly in hospital or aged care environments.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and workflows.
- Understanding of using tablets and software apps
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
- Reliable, personal vehicle
For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Driver’s licence
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
- Up to date vaccinations including COVID/Influenza
