About the Role

This hands-on supervisory position is being offered on a casual basis at Cultivate’s Brooklyn Park location. The focus of the role will be on working with the team to produce products such as pizzas and tarts while also managing high quality outcomes, and ensuring quality controls are met.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • prep, create, cook and package a range of foods according to client requirements
  • oversee and work with a team of food professionals to achieve operational outcomes
  • manage the food production and storage area
  • manage food safety administration
  • guide, influence, and mentor team members
  • champion a culture of physical and psychological workplace safety


About You

You will be a qualified chef with experience supervising staff in a large-scale food production environment. You will have a genuine passion for cooking, teaching, innovation, and continuous improvement, as well as a good eye for detail and a strong focus on food safety and WHS in a production area.

Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • Certificate III commercial cooking
  • the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • availability to work afternoon shifts which can commence from 2.30pm until 10.30pm

For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food & Beverage.

  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
