Disability Support Worker

The role

We are seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Community Access and Lifestyle programs and Day Options.

You will be supporting clients to live their best life, dreaming big, kicking goals and having fun. Your support will ensure the client is at the centre of everything you do, and you will constantly be thinking about ways to enhance the experiences for the people you support. This role will give you the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in sharing your hobbies and talents to improve your clients’ wellbeing and self-worth.

You will be IT savvy and know the difference between an “incident” and a “risk,” you will write amazing case notes which really demonstrate the clients’ growing independence and you’ll be constantly consulting your client about further goals and ambitions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Cert III in Individual Support – Disability or equivalent
  • Current DCSI Disability or NDIS Clearance
  • Current National Police Clearance (under 6 months old)
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Current and valid driver’s licence
