Personnel and Training Officer

We are currently seeking a Personnel and Training Officer who is passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals in the workplace. This opportunity is based at our site in Mount Gambier.


The Role:

As a valued member of our Employment Services team, you will be at the forefront of client centered service delivery and customer care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our supported employees.

In this front line role, flexibility is needed so that you can identify and respond to developments as they arise, and adjust goals and strategies as appropriate. You will be working in an enthusiastic and supportive team where there is opportunity to develop and improve your skillset.

Every day in this role is different where you will be responsible for supporting individuals in the workplace and implementing tailored development programs. In this nurturing team environment, you will help develop independence and life skills that are person centered, meaningful, outcome focused and fun!

As someone who is passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals, you will be an excellent communicator who will build positive relationships with Bedford, our clients, their families and networks. All of this helps to ensure we provide the best opportunities to make a difference as well as change lives.

A Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent), and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment is desired.
