Bedford's response to the Advertiser article

7 July - COVID-19 Update

SA Health reports that, at this stage, there is no evidence that the COVID-19 Delta strain has spread to the wider community, and therefore the restrictions introduced by the State Government on 29 June have now been eased.

The following are now in effect:

  • Density requirement: 3 people per 4 square metres
  • Home gatherings up to 200 (51-200 you will need a COVID Safe Plan)
  • Dancing permitted
  • Singing permitted
  • Stand-up consumption of food and beverage permitted
  • Shisha permitted
  • Masks are no longer required at Bedford sites or in the community, however you can continue to wear one if you wish

Some travel restrictions are still in place throughout Australia, further details are available on the SA Government website.

For us at Bedford, the key pillars of safety remain in place:

  1. Check-in using the QR codes at all sites – this applies to all Staff and visitors. We have an on-site tracking system in place for our Clients and Employees
  2. Continue with social distancing and hygiene practices

To support contract tracing, when QR coding-in, ‘Bedford Phoenix check-in’ is registered, however, given that each Bedford site has a unique QR Code, Staff and visitors are required to sign-in at each Bedford site they visit (even if it’s the same day).

QR codes for each site are available from Kerrie Trevena
