This nationally-accredited qualification enables successful participants to gain employment in the disability support sector in a wide range of roles, including new jobs expected to be created due to the NDIS.
Benefits to participants:
Delivered over a seven-month period, this course is funded through the Government of South Australia, Work Ready Jobs First Project. There is no fee for eligible participants.
Participants must undergo an Upfront Assessment of Need prior to enrolment. This includes Work Ready eligibility, referral from ESP, learning and support needs assessment and ASCF Skills Profile Assessment in Reading and Writing.

Bedford has created a range of in-house courses to support your growth and help with work-life balance. Our courses are designed to teach the skills to enjoy work and life, together.
These courses are created from demand and meet the needs of people at home and in the community. We offer this training to Bedford employees and deliver them on a weekly basis, through our experienced trainers. They include:
Bedford offers supported accommodation at Balyana Residential Centre as well as in the community. Balyana Residential Centre offers accommodation in both individual rooms and sharehouses.
Our rooms are partially furnished and come with an ensuite, meals are provided in a communal dining room and residents can participate in activities and enjoy social support. Our on-site sharehouses help build the skills and confidence to live in share accommodation and cater for two to six people. Residents are able to cook their own meals, share household tasks and receive support to learn the skills for the home.
