To continue growing and improving the service we provide, we are launching our 2022 Reach the Regions fundraising appeal, which will focus on developing our Day Options facilities and programs at our sites in Regional South Australia.
Bedford partners with great like-minded organisations like the RSPCA and Meals on Wheels to learn new skills and provide services for the wider community in a welcoming environment.
Day Options are centre-based programs designed to meet participants' goals and needs, with fantastic classes and modules that help build social skills, confidence, self-esteem and promote independence. We currently support our client’s passions through such programs as arts and craft, cooking, computer classes, music and dancing.
With the increasing popularity of our programs over so many years, the spaces, buildings and gardens we need to grow, and some sites are in desperate need of an update. At some of our regional South Australian sites we are at capacity and must now upgrade our facilities to make them fit for purpose.
Imagine the joy it will bring to modernise these spaces and provide our clients with wonderful new services for years to come, by hitting our fundraising goals for this Appeal! We would love to create spaces that clients cherish and feel excited about attending.
Some upgrades may just require new furniture or painting, while others are much larger and requiring new fit outs. There is much work to be done, and some of it depends on how much money we can raise.
With your generous donation, we can bring these plans to life and offer more opportunity to those people living with a disability in regional South Australia.
