Welcome to Bedford Wallaroo Learning and Experiences

The centrepiece of our Wallaroo hub is an incredible garden space and walking trail, complete with a bridge.

This has stemmed from the hub's history, when local community and families united to start the "garden project" on what was then Wallaroo Fauna Park. A simple Colorbond shed was built for people to enjoy activities in and this became the foundation of Bedford Learning and Experiences in Wallaroo.

A new main building was built and opened by Mayor Paul Thomas in 2010. The original shed that was built was renovated, and is still being used as a dedicated art room.

In addition to arts and crafts, Wallaroo Day Options offers a variety of programs, offering lots of choice. These include cooking, sewing and upholstery, literacy, pet care, outdoor adventure and sport. All programs are designed to support development of social skills, independent living skills, and being active.
